Implementing Performance Excellence (Baldrige) Criteria
Summary
Pre-Work
Coursework begins before the classroom portion of the course -- each attendee will read the criteria in detail, and score one section of the Baldrige package to get some hands-on experience in reading and interpreting the standard, prior to attending class.
Classroom
This five-day intensive course brings your team through the Performance Excellence criteria element by element, reviewing the criteria in detail as well as previous winners' submissions to provide an insight to how other high performing companies have interpreted the standard. We outline the information that is needed for demonstration of each of the criteria elements, and review any data your team may have on hand as appropriate, as well as discuss what new data needs to be collected. This class is highly intensive (8 am - 6 pm with daily homework.
Post-work
Any areas that did not get scored will be finished, and a delta list (gap analysis) will be generated for implementation of a "world class submission".
Who Should Attend
Key personnel at both the implementation and management level for each team in the organization, including the sponsoring executive. Please note that if we do not have participation of management and support of the sponsor, that we will not hold the course.
