Merging Process with People

Technical Tools & Engineering

Technical tools allow your company to improve their processes faster, with less manpower.  Technical tools are improvement tools that help your company to control processes, understand design trade-offs, and streamline your operations.  They'll help you save money by eliminating wasted steps, minimize raw material use, and minimize operator errors.  Select the tool that meets your need, or let us help you integrate all the tools to make your organization unstoppable!

Within technical tools you’ll find resources for the design, manufacturing, and service industries that will help you define and understand your processes, establish a baseline, and improve your processes to save money and increase your profits.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Why waste time chasing your tail, fixing the symptoms of a problem? This course teaches you how to properly use root cause analysis techniques and introduces the quality tools that are most effective in identifying the true root cause.

Measurement System Analysis (MSA) - Gage Repeatability & Reproducibility / MSA is a fun, interactive class that helps attendees to develop an understanding of the Automotive standard ISO/TS 16949 MSA Reference Manual and how it fits into your organization.

Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) - This four-hour course will review what is required for PPAP submission at all levels. We review what is needed to submit to customers; how to complete the forms correctly, and what the requirement levels (warrant levels) differences are.

Disciplined Problem Solving/8D (DPS) - also called Team Oriented Problem Solving (TOPS), is used to ensure that all problems are approached in a consistent, systematic manner, but unlike similar courses, also addresses the interpersonal skills necessary for a team to be outstanding - brainstorming, consensus building, and active listening.

Advanced Quality Product Planning (AQAP) - Advanced Product Quality Planning, or APQP, is a technique required by ISO/TS 16949 to develop a fully systematized product.

Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) - used by design, manufacturing, process, and quality engineers to determine that failure modes have been addressed in the appropriate stage (either design or process) of manufacture.

Simplified Design of Experiments (DOE) - This course is designed to minimize the complex theoretical aspects of DOE and focus on the practical uses in industry today.
